Haparandadam_Trafo Gazebo

We just watched an amazing clip of Erik Åberg’s mind-bending GhostCube.

Here’s our attempt to create a transformer; Trafo Gazebo was one of 3 proposals for a cultural stage on the Haparandadam in Amsterdam.

(Our winning proposal: Multi Mill is still on hold, but something tells me that the time is slowly getting ripe for resurrecting the project…)

Ghostcube could be a Nakagin capsule tower 2.0 (Kisho Kurokawa).
Like the way how the concept is presentated, well done!

Will there be any future developments on this project?

I love your Trafo Gazebo concept. I could imagine the best way to realise this would be through framework and technical fabric panels with actuation through tensile members.
